ABOUT THIS MODULE

Near Earth Objects are asteroids and comets whose orbits bring them close to Earth. Tracking NEOs is critical for UAP research for three reasons: (1) fireballs and bolides are frequently misidentified as UAP — cross-referencing eliminates false positives, (2) interstellar objects like Oumuamua challenge our assumptions about what enters our solar system, and (3) DoD sensors that detect NEO atmospheric impacts are the same sensors involved in UAP detection.

FEATURED: OUMUAMUA

First confirmed interstellar object. Anomalous non-gravitational acceleration detected (unexplained by outgassing). No coma observed despite solar proximity. Harvard astronomer Avi Loeb argued it could be artificial (solar sail or probe). IAU classification: interstellar object. The object that launched the Galileo Project.
