EFFECTIVE DATE: 2026-05-10

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using the AUSPEX UAP Intelligence Platform (“AUSPEX,” “the Platform,” “we,” “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

AUSPEX is a research and analysis platform that aggregates, cross-references, and visualizes publicly available information related to unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP). The platform provides tools for document analysis, incident mapping, statistical analysis, and knowledge graph exploration. AUSPEX is designed for researchers, journalists, analysts, and the general public.

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to use AUSPEX to:
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Harass, threaten, or intimidate any person, including witnesses or researchers
  • Upload or distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data from the platform for redistribution without permission
  • Use automated tools to access the platform in a manner that degrades service for other users
  • Misrepresent analysis results or platform-generated data as official government findings
  • Doxx, stalk, or otherwise target individuals identified in incident reports

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Government Records: Documents sourced from U.S. government agencies (CIA, FBI, AARO, DoD, Congress) are in the public domain and are not subject to copyright restrictions. Our presentation, indexing, and cross-referencing of these records constitutes original work.

Platform Content: The AUSPEX platform, including its design, code, analysis algorithms, statistical models, visualizations, and original editorial content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from platform-original content without written permission.

User Content: You retain ownership of investigations, annotations, and other content you create on AUSPEX. By creating content on the platform, you grant us a limited license to store and display that content as part of providing the service.

6. RESEARCH DISCLAIMER

AUSPEX is a research and analysis tool. The platform:
  • Presents data from multiple sources with varying levels of verification
  • Uses credibility scoring (CONFIRMED, HIGH, MEDIUM, LOW, UNVERIFIED) to indicate data reliability — these are analytical assessments, not definitive determinations
  • Employs statistical methods (clustering, correlation, chi-squared tests) that identify patterns but do not establish causation
  • Does not claim to prove or disprove the existence of any phenomena
  • Should not be cited as an authoritative government source
Users are responsible for their own conclusions drawn from platform data. AUSPEX provides analytical tools and aggregated information — interpretation and application of that information is the user's responsibility.

7. ADVERTISING

AUSPEX may display advertisements through third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense. These advertisements are clearly distinguishable from platform content. The presence of advertisements does not constitute endorsement of the advertised products or services. Ad content is determined by the advertising network, not by AUSPEX. For ad personalization preferences, visit your ad network settings.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
  • AUSPEX is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied
  • We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
  • We are not liable for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data sourced from third parties
  • In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

9. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AUSPEX and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS & DATA

AUSPEX may contain links to third-party websites, government portals, and external databases. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites. Access to external resources is at your own risk.

11. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your access to AUSPEX at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. You may request export of your data prior to account deletion. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification) shall survive.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.

13. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
